Trust in You!

Trust is a difficult concept isn’t it? We all doubt things every day of our life. We find it hard and even uncomfortable at times to put our trust into anything or anyone 100%. I recently welcomed almost 100 new students into my Get Your Book Done® program since the beginning of the year. It’s so exciting for me to see all these new faces and these amazing human beings that are putting their trust in me; allowing me to help them get their message and their book out to the world and in the process, transform their lives and the lives of others around them.

That’s scary to me, in a sense. We all have our moments of self-doubt and the feelings of not being worthy. And even now, after all the thousands of people I have coached and helped over my career, I STILL get doubts about myself and my own capabilities. It’s human nature isn’t it? It’s natural to question if we’re good enough, if we really have anything to give the world, if our message is something others will want to hear. But, each and every one of us has a gift and part of that journey of life is to find that gift and to share it.

In my coaching of new writers, I try to bring them to a place where they can find the clarity, confidence, and courage to dig deep down inside and hear the message, the gift, they within them – and gain the courage to share it with their readers. Like every journey, every new experience, sometimes our first emotion is doubt, right? But, it’s all in how you interpret that doubt – and how you transform it – that makes all the difference. How do you let go and take your first steps?

Facing those self-doubts and fears are a part of the process and that allows us to grow and evolve into who we were meant to be. It moves our dreams into reality. And unless we allow ourselves to trust in our decisions and know deep down that this is what we were meant to do, we will never realize those dreams.

So, how do we do that? Again, I come back to the word “Trust”. Trust in your decision to write your book. Trust the call in your heart that you have something valuable to share. Trust in your highest mind…your soul…whatever you call that place inside yourself where the fear and doubt is dissipated and YOUR clarity exists. Your path is clear to your soul right now; you just have to allow it to become clear to you.

When you listen to that spark, that nudge, that divine perfection, doubts go away and you can begin to transform yourself, your readers, your business….and ultimately the world! I firmly believe that there is a place in the universe right now, where your book is written. Now, YOU have to allow it to be written. It’s time to quiet all that white noise of fear and self-doubt and allow your message to come through.

Never forget that you are a gift to the world and your unique contribution is valuable beyond measure. Don’t waste your energy trying to be anyone else. Trust in the real you. It’s all you need to be. That’s all anyone wants you to be anyway. If you trust in that, in yourself, anything is possible.
